Just creeping on my own Facebook (don’t worry about it) and came across this wall post from a friend of mine in high school. This was posted a few days after he came out that he was gay and he had apparently been told that God didn’t love him anymore. I am in tears as I remember this moment and that time in my life…just pleading that God would reveal his love to him. I read over my response to him and would still not change a thing to this day. “God created you because he wanted you. You are his child and he wouldn’t change a thing about you. You are loved, by God, for simply who you are, because you are his.” Maybe you are gay and have experienced discrimination and hatred from some “Christians”. Maybe you are straight and just need a little reminder of God’s love. Either way, I want you to know and trust and believe that God does not hate you, he created you, and you are loved unconditionally.
